Regional and diverse
All the good things are so close. Your Bergheimat Hotel focuses on regional high-quality products that will convince you with their rich taste.
Chef de cuisine Hans Auer has been preparing meals at the Bergheimat since 1982 and indulgences you once a week with a themed buffet: Salzburg delicacies with “Salzburgerisch aufgetischt”, Italian or Asian delights.
During the fondue evenings you can cook your own delights – happy fondueing!
Our meals have also convinced in anonymous tests: your host was awarded with the “Genusswirt Salzburg 2011” award and the AMA quality certificate. For 2014 we have also been nominated as finalists.
The Bergheimat indulgence board
- In the morning tuck in at the great breakfast buffet with a well-assorted tea bar, selected organic teas and freshly warm bread from the organic bakery in Mühlbach.
The honey comes from the Hochkeil region and is produced by the Mayrhofers, a young beekeeper family. The chef himself makes the fruity jams.
The organic milk comes from the Formaugut farm, which is run by the Kaswurm family and the tasty organic cheese with hay flowers as well as the organic cultured butter comes from the Pötzelsberger family in Adnet.
- In the afternoon we serve you a snack with soup, homemade pastries and fresh fruits.
The culinary highlight follows in the evening with a 4-course meal of choice, with Austrian or international influences, including a salad and cheese buffet.
On Wednesdays we offer regional venison from the Pongau or the Hohe Tauern indulgence regions.
Young Bergheimat guests can choose their favourite meal from the children's menu.
The culinary highlights of the year are the Ash Wednesday gala buffet – a very special pickled herring salad, the ski and wine indulgence weeks in March and the sociable and festive dinners with wines and personal service.
The indulgence experience is rounded off by the perfect wine from the hotel's wine store and purest water from the Bergheimat spring, with its source on the Hochkönig mountain and vitalised according to Johann Grander.
Your host Sieglinde and chef de cuisine Hans Auer taste and select the wines themselves and only the best drops make their way to the wine cellar. The perks of our job.
Every Sunday the host family and team welcome you with a welcome drink. You will get a lot of information for your carefree holiday during this get-together. After the drink a candle-light dinner awaits you. Enhance the atmosphere during dinner with a casual-elegant attire.
We gladly consider your special diets and offer diet cuisine if requested. We of course indulge you with creative, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free meals. Just tell us your wishes and requests.
