Make your way to the very top of the Hochkeil and enjoy hearty country snacks in the open air, hike over to Hans at the Pronebenalm, a man always good for a wisecrack or two, or perhaps to the Bürgalm instead, radiant in its brand-new splendour, where your hostess, Gabi, is guaranteed to have the latest jokes up her sleeve as well.
"Kings" - an appropriate name we give to those who have conquered the majestic Hochkönig. If you love mountaineering challenges, the "Königsjodler" fixed-cable trail is definitely for you.
