Vacations in Salzburg - Heading out on a Summer Holiday!
Fragrant air, sun, incomparable views - here with us, summer has seemingly been plucked from the pages of a picture book. Idyllically situated, amid green high pastures and rustic hill farms, the "Bergheimat" is an ideal base for summer activities of every kind. Embark on a leisurely hike, challenging tours of the mountains, or excursions throughout the family paradise that is the SalzburgerLand. And there is definitely something to be said for the occasional "lazy day", spent out on our sunbathing lawns or next to the biotope.
Every week, we head out on one of our hotel's very own guided hikes, including hearty country snacks and accompanied by the owner himself! Theme hikes (Herb Hike, Hike in the Miners' Footsteps and a "Cheese Hike" to a hill farm, where the farmer's wife will show you how cheese is made) and inexpensive rides on the Hochkönig Hiking Bus, are always sure to bring a change of pace to each and every day of your vacation. We have backpacks, hiking and Nordic Walking poles available for you to borrow free of charge.
