A life dedicated to the "Bergheimat".
If Appolonia Singer, a dairy woman at the Kopphütte hill farm, hadn't turned the head of ski instructor, Sepp Plenk - things would have worked out very differently. Thus began the story of the "Bergheimat", opened in 1949 with 15 beds, running water and a dining room.
Helmut Plenk, one of their two sons, together with his wife, Traudl, turned the "Bergheimat" into what it is today. Now today's senior owners, they undertook comprehensive remodelling and new construction work. But daughter Sieglinde, along with her husband, Thomas Kögl, has added her own get-up-and-go to the picture, putting fresh wind in everyone's sails for many a year now.
