How to get to the Bergheimat Hotel in Mühlbach

There are two main possibilites to get to the Holiday Hotel Bergheimat by car.

Arrival by car from Salzburg:

Take the A10 motorway and the exit Bischofshofen, then continue on the B311 in direction of Bischofshofen. Follow the Hochönig A-Road/B164 to Mühlback am Hochkönig. Shortly after the start of the valley take a turn right (after a little traffic island) and continue in direction to Arthurhaus, and ascend on the Mandlwand road and after ca. 3.5km turn left into the access road to the Hotel Bergheimat.

Arrival by car from Innsbruck or Kufstein:

Take the Loferer Road/B179 in direction of St. Johann i.T., then take the Hochkönig A-Road/B164 via Saalfelden – Maria Alm (via Filzensattel) – Dienten (via Dientner Sattel) to Mühlbach. At the end of the valley turn left (before the small traffic island) and go in direction of Arthurhaus. Ascend on the Mandlwand road and after ca. 3.5km turn left into the access road to the hotel. 

You will see our Bergheimat Hotel on your left side, it is well-lit in the evening.

ATTENTION!
Not every sat nav finds our street and it might tell you to turn left earlier, at the Kniegut!

In winter we recommend to take snow chains with you in the car!

By train

If you arrive by train a taxi will take you from the Bischofshofen train station to the Bergheimat Hotel (€38,- up to € 52,- depending on car or bus)

By plane

If you arrive by plane you best take the transfer-taxi from Salzburg Airport to Mühlbach (€ 115,- up to € 155,- depending on car or bus)

Hiking bus & Ski bus

In summer you are able to use the hiking bus and in winter you are able to use the ski bus in the Hochkönig region for free with your Hochkönig-Card. You can contact the team at Hotel Bergheimat for further information.
